Counseling Resource Collection

We invite Counseling professionals to donate gently used and new textbooks and journals to the NBCC Foundation's Counseling Resource Collection (CRC).

This program provides Counselor education materials to communities around the world. We send these resources to countries where high-quality Counseling materials are difficult to access. Since the program was launched in 2003, the NBCC Foundation has sent resources to Bhutan, Cambodia, Kenya, Malawi, Romania, Uganda, and Zambia.

The CRC is currently working with T2S C.A.R.E.S. to distribute supplies to the Republic of Liberia. A shipment of materials is scheduled for October 2026 to include hospitals and the University of Liberia's library. These resources will also support students enrolled in the first psychology degree program since Liberia's Civil Wars in the 1990s.

Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) is joining this initiative and collaborating with the NBCC Foundation to increase donations and support mental health professionals in Liberia. The NBCC Foundation is grateful for CSI's support and to all donors.

The NBCC Foundation is not able to reimburse shipping costs for donations. We will handle all aspects of shipping items from the Foundation offices to Liberia. Donors can receive a tax donation letter from the NBCC Foundation acknowledging their donation. To receive a tax donation letter, please enclose your name and mailing address with your donation or email global@nbcc.org.
